Testimonials

“D.A.F.T. Organization is to help build confidence in our children with today’s society. The world can be challenging and as they get older, school becomes more difficult and can sometimes be discouraging. The impact this program has made on my daughter in regards to motivation and self-esteem has been beneficial to her and can most definitely be to all young adults. As parents we want to always be supportive of our children, this program is set up to help guide and counsel in areas of need. Looking forward to continuing to be a part of this D.A.F.T Family!” Ericka B(Parent)

“I’m so proud to say my daughter has found a place where she is comfortable and is learning how to articulate her feelings in a way that doesn’t come across to most as disrespectful or insensitive. This program I brag about and I’m happy to be a supporter of. If anybody has a preteen or teen that can benefit from counseling, tutoring, needs social emotional support, or a mentor please call or email to inquire about enrolling your child ASAP! Our children are not bad seeds! Sheana S (Parent)

“During the Financial Literacy program I have learned a lot from Ms. Walker about financial literacy, college and professional development. I learned that budgeting my money is an important asset to my future plans in life and one wrong mistake can throw off my financial goals. The envelope system, which is having 3-4 different envelopes and labeling them based on my needs and setting money aside for each necessity. Ms.Walker also helped me find some colleges that I am interested in to study forensic science. Additionally, she helped me apply to scholarships that’ll reduce the amount of money I will need to take out in student loans.  Financial Literacy is my favorite D.A.F.T workshop.” D.A.F.T Student (13yrs old)

“In 6th grade I was not doing good and I needed help with my grades and attitude. After my mom put me in D.A.F.T, I learned how to control my anger and I went from having a lot of F’s in my classes to having A’s and being on honor roll. I am grateful for this program. It is helping me a lot. “ Student (12yrs old)
