Curtis Walker
Curtis Walker (C.J. Love) is a poet, Athlete, sports performance trainer, and holistic wellness advocate. He was born in Washington D.C and raised in Newburgh, N.Y. Curtis graduated from NFA in 2006. He has been working in health and athletics since graduation from high school. Over a 10+ year career in these fields, Curtis has assisted countless athletes and nonathletes in reaching their health or performance goals through specific programming and coaching. Curtis is passionate about helping ordinary people reach their full potential through physical training and creative expression. In 2018 Curtis and their team launched a nationwide health initiative to bring awareness to childhood obesity. The campaign was called “Young habits die old” The campaign was a cycling tour that stopped in multiple cities. The team provided fun and engaging workshops to educate the youth on the importance of healthy habits. Since then, Curtis has worked with various groups, community centers, and schools to continue the initiative.
